Exciting role for a Programme Planner Coordinator who is fluent in French and who has knowledge of the French TV market.
This is a rolling contract.
Our client, a well known broadcaster, is looking for a Programme Planner Coordinator to join their team.
Duties include:
Following channels strategy, help to create and use the programme inventory, informing the Programming Manager of programmes due to expire and generally keeping account of all programmes brought to air.
Accurate input of the monthly schedules, create pre-premiere list, drive schedule changes, keep under control allowed runs of titles, create emergency programme list
Liaise with other teams in order to check rights availability, materials and versions delivery
Start becoming an expert in the content and programmes
Remain informed of competitor scheduling, programming and strategy.
Liaise and build relationships with key departments – Ad Sales, Presentation, OAP, Press, marketing, etc – understanding the different needs of each.
Profil du poste :
Skills & Experience required:
French native speaker
Experience of working in a TV broadcast environment on the French market, preferably with a scheduling function.
Knowledge and understanding of the French TV market.
Minimum intermediate knowledge and experience of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word and knowledge of scheduling systems is a plus.
Planning and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
An analytical approach with problem-solving skills.
Team player and able to work effectively on own initiative when required.
Interest in and awareness of TV scheduling practices.
Pro-active approach to work.
Ability to communicate at varying levels.
