Role Overview:

Seeking a Senior Journalist/Writer on a contract basis. Produce high-quality written content for a media platform by researching, interviewing, and crafting compelling articles across multiple beats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, investigate, and write in-depth articles, features, and news pieces for publication.
• Conduct interviews with industry experts, stakeholders, and newsmakers to gather accurate information.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, style, and factual accuracy.
• Collaborate with editors and content teams to align articles with editorial guidelines and audience needs.
• Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes, and emerging topics to inform content strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional journalism or writing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
• Strong research and fact-checking skills to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Excellent interviewing and communication skills to extract key insights from sources.
• Proficiency in content management systems and publishing tools.
