Description du poste
  • Develop and lead strategic publicity campaigns for all theatrical releases in France
  • Create and execute corporate communications strategy around Amazon MGM Studios’ theatrical business expansion in France
  • Lead and manage local agencies and external vendors to deliver best-in-class campaigns
  • Orchestrate press junkets, talent appearances, and premiere events across France
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, critics groups, cultural influencers, entertainment journalists, talent representatives, and industry stakeholders
  • Provide strategic counsel to US and France-based leadership and cross-functional teams on cultural nuances and market-specific opportunities
  • Develop messaging and provide issues management support for talent, filmmakers, and corporate spokespeople
  • Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness, media coverage, and marketplace dynamics across France
  • Design and oversee word-of-mouth screening programs, tastemaker events, and innovative stunts/activations to generate earned media
  • Lead regional festival strategy and cultural collaborations in concert with global priorities
  • Manage theatrical publicity budgets with a focus on efficiency and ROI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, social, digital, and distribution
  • Present campaign strategies and results to internal stakeholders and external parties
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and agencies
Profil recherché

The dynamic theatrical PR team at Amazon MGM Studios partners across territories to develop and execute innovative publicity campaigns that resonate culturally and drive theatrical box office.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or industry equivalent experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
Entertainment publicity experience in the French market; including oversight of theatrical PR campaigns
Proven track record of leading theatrical publicity campaigns from strategy through execution
Demonstrated experience managing high-profile talent relationships and navigating complex media situations
Strong relationships with French media outlets, entertainment journalists, critics, festival programmers, and cultural organizations
Experience managing agency relationships and publicity budgets
Proven ability to develop corporate messaging for business initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English
Experience presenting strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience at a major studio, entertainment company, or leading PR agency
Established relationships with talent reps, festival directors, and exhibition teams across the region
Crisis communications and issues management experience
Deep understanding of the evolving media landscape and cultural trends in France
Experience working across theatrical and streaming windows
Proven track record of budget management, reporting, and delivering measurable results
Experience managing or mentoring team members
Understanding of box office metrics and the theatrical marketplace in France
Experience working across multiple territories or markets within France and surrounding territories
